At Style Labb the safety of our guests is our number one priority. Here are a few things you can expect on your next visit:


  • Upon arriving we ask that you give us a phone call letting us know you are here and we will notify you when your stylist is ready


  • Before you enter the salon we are asking that you please fill out a waiver and bring it to the front desk team when you come in.


  • We are also asking that you please wear a mask at all times when you are in the building If you do not have a mask we can provide a mask for you.


  • Once you have handed the front desk staff your waiver they are then going to give you some hand sanitizer and take your temperature. If your temperature is above 99° you may be asked to reschedule your appointment for a future date.


  • You will be handed a plastic bag to place your belongings in so you can take with you throughout the salon. Once you’re all clear your stylist will meet you upfront. 


  • We are practicing social distancing as much as possible so we will be doing a distance greeting with no handshake or hugs at this time. Once in the stylists chair you’ll be asked a series of questions:


  • Have you had a cough?

  • have you had a fever?

  • Have you been exposed with these symptoms in the last 14 days?

  • Have you traveled outside of New Mexico in the last 14 days?


 If you answer yes to any of these questions you may be asked to reschedule your appointment. Your stylist will have a sanitized box of implements to use throughout your service. As always at Style Labb, we only use sanitized capes, combs, towels and clips. Once you’re done with your service the styling station and a shampoo chair will be thoroughly sanitized and wiped down. All touch points will be completely cleaned in between every client. After your service please ask your stylist or a Style Labb team member to help you with the retail shelving area and get any of your product needs. 


Here are a few other key points you need to know:

Throughout the day we are thoroughly sanitizing all touch points and common areas throughout the entire salon.

  • Please bring a phone or something to do as of right now we are not offering magazines at this time. We are also asking that you should bring a beverage with you, we will not be providing any beverage service right now.

  • DO NOT bring anyone else with you who is not receiving a service. 

  • We have to follow strict protocols on how many people can be in the building.

  • As always at Style Labb it is important for us to provide an exceptional service.We are looking into having a microbial reduction system installed, as it allows dry hydrogen peroxide to filter through the air killing all contaminants viruses and mold. We are so excited that we are here and able to provide our services for you again and safety is our number one priority. We are asking that you be flexible with us during this time and understanding with all of our protocols set in place.








Hello Style Labb Patrons,


Some or most of you may already know, the govenor has extended the social distancing to May 15. My personal feeling about re-opening our salon for your safety and ours will be June 1st. 

Rob WILL however be taking clients May 25th. Please keep in mind that if you already booked an appointment, we may or may not need to reschedule due to the Govenors decision to re-open. Some of you have asked if we are selling gift certificates and at this time our system is not quite set up to offer them online at this time.

Our website has been updated and now you can have direct communication with your stylist as well as booking online with them.

Each client entering the shop will be asked the following questions: 

  • Have you had a cough?

  • Have you had a fever,

  • Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days?

  • Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined? 


We will be seeing clients by appointment only and will be taking appointments by telephonic, email or online scheduling. We will be limiting the number of persons waiting area in the salon/shop. It is recommended that clients wait outside the salon/shop in their vehicle until the cosmetologist or barber is ready to serve them. Persons not being serviced in the salon/shop wait outside the salon/shop. Salons/shops are not be used for social gathering places! 


Maintain social distancing at all times! Spacing between persons in the salon should be at least six feet, except when staff are servicing clients. Stylist will also have additional spacing between booths,  and/or alternate work schedules to accomplish this by have only 3 stylists working at a time.


  • Please do not come to your appointment if you have a fever, a cough, or are experiencing shortness of breath or flu-like symptoms

  • Please arrive wearing a mask; caretakers will be asked to stay in their cars/go home; please no children!


Before returning to work ALL stylists will be required to take a Barbicide Certification to ensure proper safety/sanitations. If you have any questions or concerns related to the policy please contact the owner Antoinette all other appointment inquiries please contact your stylist.


Lastly I would like to THANK all those who donated to the GoFund Me to keep our salon doors open and your stylist employed. You have been so generous during this financial crisis. I hope you know that we will make great efforts to pay it forward. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We appreciate you supporting your stylist and waiting for them.

Due to the COVID19 Social Distancing, Style Labb will be closed all the way through the month of April.  WE ARE NOT MAKING HOUSE CALLS! PLEASE STAY HOME, STAY SAFE!  THIS IS FOR OUR SAFETY AND YOURS.


I have received several emails asking how they can support our shop to help support or small business. Our team is monitoring and assessing the evolving situation around the COVID-19 virus in real-time, and we are taking extra precautions. We hope to return to the salon soon.
